Evaluate support before you need it

Ask about contact channels, coverage hours, severity definitions, and escalation ownership.

The everyday problem

Support quality becomes visible when work is blocked, but it is often discussed only as a plan name during purchasing. A generic support promise does not explain how a workflow issue reaches someone who can diagnose it or how the operations team receives updates.

A practical approach

Ask about contact channels, coverage hours, severity definitions, and escalation ownership. Distinguish a technical incident from a workflow question. Request an example of the information support needs so your team can prepare useful reports from the start.

Try this with your team

Write a fictional incident involving an unavailable integration. Walk through how it is reported, triaged, escalated, communicated, and confirmed as resolved.
